Back Country House is located in Puhoi, New Zealand. New Zealand rural life merges with modern lines. Tiny house is a modern 164 square foot home designed for the family of architect David Maurice. In this project, it is aimed to retreat in a wonderful forest landscape and to integrate with nature.

Back Country House in Countryside New Zealand

Locally sourced natural materials such as macrocarpa wood were used in the interior and exterior decoration of the house, adding warmth to the environment. By choosing light colors in interior decoration, it is ensured that the environment is large and spacious.

In the attic of the house there is a comfortable white double bedroom. The bedroom has a spacious design with a wonderful forest view.

The wall separating the living room and kitchen of the house was removed, making the main living area more spacious. The kitchen is very stylishly designed with tables and chairs. The bathroom of the house is very stylishly designed with wooden colored tiles.

The modern house has a large wooden veranda with forest views. The veranda is designed to cover the perimeter of the house. There is a wooden sitting group, fireplace and jacuzzi so you can enjoy the forest view on the veranda.
